You remind me of old Ford Broncos
Built in 1976;
Racing down old dirt roads
And finding things to fix.
Irrigating for hours
Cutting and baling hay;
Climbing power poles to restore power
And working hard every day.
Sledding through a powder drift
And side hilling to the top;
Backflips off of the old bridge
Down by biscuit rock.
Hiking for days on end
Finding antlers on the ground;
Hunting tags and filling them
Helping everyone else around.
Showing off with a reckless soul
Equipment operating and ranching;
A special love for raw Cookie dough,
Grandma Jackie and Pepsi with ice cream.
A work ethic beyond measure
No short cuts of any kind;
Not leaving much time for pleasure
Unless it involves hunting, then you’ll make some time.
A smile that wrinkles around your eyes
And shows dimples in your cheeks;
Flirtatious, ornery, yet sometimes quiet
With a tall and hairy, I mean- strong physique.
He looks and acts just like you
And she’s Daddy’s little girl;
There is no other Dad they’d ever choose
You’re the best one in the world!❤️
Happy Father’s Day!
